Worship together,
pray together,

care for one another.

Sunday Service: 10:00 AM

70 Garner Rd E, Ancaster, ON

If you are looking for a place to worship, we invite you to join us. We are a Spirit-filled community that is made up of all ages and many ethnic backgrounds. We welcome you to meet with us; you do not need to be a “member” of our church to worship with us or to participate in our programs.

We believe we are saved by Grace Alone, through faith Alone, in Christ Alone!

Grace Community is a member congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. Our doctrinal statements are: The Belgic Confession, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort. In addition to these three we have a Contemporary Testimony called “Our World Belongs to God”

History

Grace Community Christian Reformed Church was organized in 1976 as “Ancaster Christian Reformed Church”. The congregation first met together at Ryerson United Church in downtown Ancaster. In 1986 a new Church building was completed at 70 Garner Road and the congregation had a home of their own.

In 2021-2022 major renovations were undertaken in order to expand the facility which included more meeting rooms, a multi-purpose room, Youth Room, and expanded kitchen. During the construction the congregation had to meet elsewhere.

Worship

We aim to glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has called us into a relationship with Him in the Kingdom of God.

We value biblical worship that opens the heart and mind to the Grace and Truth as revealed in God’s Word. In our Worship Service you will find:

  • Hymns/Songs from the best of both traditional and contemporary artists
  • A time for Confession of Sin, Assurance of Pardon, and God’s Will for our lives

Guests

All visitors are welcome at Grace Community CRC! We have ushers at the door who are ready to answer any questions you may have regarding our facility and children’s programs. Our service flow includes Bible passages, a blend of traditional hymns and worship songs, and a scripture-based message from Pastor Mark. After church, coffee, tea & treats are served as people build community with one another. For more information, please see our worship page.

At each service, we have a nursery (ages 0-2), Children’s Worship (ages 3-5), and KidzKonnect (grades 1-4). Our volunteers teach Bible stories, sing songs and engage with each child through meaningful conversations.

Registration occurs before each service at the welcome center using Planning Centre.

Our building is fully wheelchair accessible and all on one floor.

Large print bulletins (with songs and scripture) are available for those who would like them.

For those who require hearing aid technology, there are packs available at the sound booth in the sanctuary.

Each Sunday service is available to watch LIVE or whenever you’d like! Please visit our YouTube channel to see more.

We understand that church may be new to you. Our facility is made for people to observe & worship as they are comfortable! If this looks like you are observing church from our foyer couches, that’s okay! If you’d like to connect further, our ushers would be more than happy to connect you with one of our Deacons or Elders.
Come as you are! On any given Sunday, you can find our congregation in anything from shorts to suits.
